Sound proof partitions details

The sound proof partitions series is the most popular specification range of fully operational single-panel sliding partition systems. The noise reduction of up to 50dB noise is achieved with a combination of operable top and bottom seals, high performance multiple sound absorbing material in sound proof partition walls and panel assembly design which allows noise reduction between the frame and the outer layer.

The vertical channel of each sound proof partitions panel contains a polymer insert that is acoustic sealed when the panels are placed as a wall. The sound proof partition walls are available in three thicknesses, 65mm, 85mm and 100mm, depending on the acoustic rating (from 30dB to 50dB).

Sound proof partition wall is usually used where indoor space needs to be fully utilized. Hotels, convention centers, educational institutions, offices, training areas, etc. can all benefit from the flexibility of partition wall sound insulation system.

When the operable seal is retracted, the panel slide easily along a unique aluminum overhead rail system (no floor rails are required). The telescopic end panel allows the walls to be locked off to complete the acoustic seal. The rail and carrier systems make sure acoustical partition wall is easy to operate and change direction, allowing panel stacking in countless configurations.

For aesthetic appeal, it is possible to provide almost any decorative finish, including veneer, laminates, walls, carpets, whiteboards and decorative lacquers.

Factors of sound insulation

The sound insulation coefficient of the sound proof partition comes from a multi-directional, not only in the partition wall itself, but also in other links, as follows:

1. Horizontal sound insulation

In order to achieve the best sound insulation, the structure of the upper and lower two layers of soundproof rubber is adopted. Tuoba uses the principle of jack to press the double rubber strip on the track and floor of the ceiling to provide high stability sound proof partitions.

2. Corner insulation

The special-shaped rubber-like corner assembly is used to solve the technical problem of treating the sealing of the corner portion; at the same time, the superior stability and sound insulation effect are also achieved.

3. Vertical sound insulation

All sound-insulating walls feature a highly elastic, vertically-bonded side with a concave-and-groove fit to ensure optimum closure and sound insulation.

4. Skeleton

In view of the suspension structure of the sound proof partition wall panel, it can be freely shaken, and the metal hoop members between the wall panels are tightly combined to effectively block the transmission of sound. The panels can be replaced as needed for interior design without damaging the entire wall panel.

5. Sound insulation material

The skeleton is filled with additional soundproofing materials to achieve different sound insulation requirements.

6. Operating the crank

The manual operation of the crank controls the expansion and contraction of the sound insulation strip. The flexible flexibility of the diamond-shaped connecting bayonet in the crank makes the crank less slippery.

7. Panel

The sound proof partition wall panel skeleton is composed of aluminum alloy and steel pipe. This sturdy, non-deformable frame with the tight combination of wall metal hoops provides great stability and high sound insulation.
