What is the difference between MDF Board and Plywood?

A type of medium-density fiberboard (man-made board). In China, medium-density fiberboard uses agricultural residues or sub-small fuelwood as the main raw material, and its main components are wood fiber, resin glue, etc. After hot grinding, drying, sizing, paving, hot pressing, post-treatment, and sanding, it is an environmentally friendly alternative to wood furniture and building materials. The advantages of MDF: the cost of movable partitions is low, and it is easy to polish and modify. Such as pasting wallpaper (but combining product characteristics and professional skills).

Plywood, is commonly known as thin core board in the industry. It is formed by hot pressing of three or more layers of one millimeter thick veneer or thin plate glue. It is currently the most commonly used material for handmade furniture. Advantages of multi-layer plywood: it has the advantages of moisture-proof, waterproof, non-deformation, non-mold, low formaldehyde content, convenient construction, no warping, and good horizontal tensile strength. The finished product is lighter than MDF. Mainly used in various panels for furniture manufacturing, interior decoration, and residential construction. Secondly, it is used in shipbuilding, truck box manufacturing, various military industry, light industry products, and packaging industries.
